Helping moms in high-control marriage

The question I get asked most is, “Who do you coach? What do you help people with?”

There are a lot of answers to this, but the one I’ve been doing the longest is helping stay-at-home-moms who are unhappy in high-control marriages figure out whether (and how) to fix or leave their relationship—and then walk through it in peace.

I have 30+ years of experience with this. I started working in shelters and helping women leave abusive relationships when I was in high school.

Then, because life has a way of making sure we really, fully learn the lessons we need to learn, I found myself in my own unfixable marriage. I made the difficult decision to leave that situation even though I was a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom with 5 small kids and very little “work experience.”

It was the most challenging thing I’ve ever done, but I figured out how to thrive, and now I’ve helped many other moms do the same. Some fix the relationship, some find a different path, all learn how to take care of themselves and create their own peace.
