What the Return to Office push is really about
Years after the pandemic showed us many “office jobs” could be done just as well or better from home, allowing more women and other non-traditional employees to enter the [sufficiently-paid] workforce than ever, some American companies started pushing us back to the office anyway.
Under a thin facade of “productivity” and “alignment,” this widespread push is really about upholding an economic model that depends on caregiving work remaining unvalued and invisible.

“No, I just love to practice, I don’t want to teach!”
Yoga is the practice of experiencing being human. Of being aware of being a human.
It is taking time each day to observe what it’s actually like:
To have a body that senses,
and feels.
And a mind that chatters,
and makes stuff up.
Why can’t I have that kind of ____?
When you have an "I wish" moment, ask: "What would it feel like if I did have it?"
What if you could look back a year from now, and be surprised by how much had changed?
What is the wildest thing you’d hope to change about your life in the next year?
